There’s a Chestnut-backed Chickadee family moving in to the nest box out back.
She may still be working on this. I saw her bringing some feathers in over the weekend. The nest box has a side panel that you can open to check out how things are going; the NestWatch site has guidance on how to go about this without disturbing the nest. Based on what we know, there could be some tiny eggs appearing here in the next few days. Very exciting! I’m curious to examine the nest materials in more detail after the family moves out.
