So, I’m apparently going to be pointing out web site errors all the time now? This will quickly become tedious. But before it does, here’s another one for you. My Google alerts for hometown news included an intriguing headline: Does not go online. Now you’ve got me clicking. The content (it’s a comparison of insurance rates in various Bay Area cities, in case it is no longer going online) didn’t seem particularly sensitive, so who knows why it was flagged to not go online. In any case, if you’re using a web content management system, there’s probably some better way to keep it from going online than commanding it not to via the title.
