There’s a Board of Trustees meeting going on near my office, and they must be talking about a new student housing project because they have an architect’s concept drawings up on easels outside their meeting room. One of the drawings shows a little lawn behind the condo buildings labeled “pet amenity area”. So that’s what we’re calling it these days. Google tells us that these are also referred to as a “pet respite”. And here I was referring to it as “my front lawn”.
