Apple introduced their tablet device today, and it’s called iPad.  This is a concern; it will introduce massive confusion among tech gadget enthusiasts who speak with a Great Lakes Regional Accent.  If you’re going into an Apple store in Buffalo, Cleveland, or Detroit (they have them, right?) and ask for an “iPod”, your request will be heard as “iPad”.  They’ll show you the $499 iPad, and you’ll respond, “nooo.  I waant the iPaaaaad. jeeez.”
