The other day Mr. Krugman had a post about a statement President Obama made regarding the stimulus roll-out.  Obama said that projects were proceeding ahead of schedule and under budget.  Krugman said “yay! … and, boo!”  He went on to say that the whole idea behind the stimulus was to spend money, so while it was good to be ahead of schedule, saving money was not so good.  I thought the yay/boo thing was kind of funny, and mentioned it to the Resident Expert.  Then I ran across it again on another blog, so searched around and see now that yay/boo is pretty commonly used.  So I won’t be able to use it myself and be perceived as original.
